Short-Term Accommodation (Respite)
A break for you, peace of mind for your loved ones.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to respite—it looks different for everyone. For some, it’s a relaxing weekend to rest and recharge. For others, it’s a week full of activities, outings, and connection. Whatever it looks like for you, respite is a chance to take a break in a fully supportive environment, knowing you’ll be cared for, your needs will be met, and you’ll return home feeling refreshed.
At Well-Watered Life, our STA services are designed to feel like a home away from home—safe, welcoming, and filled with opportunities to grow, connect, and recharge.
What is Short-Term Accommodation (Respite)?
Short-Term Accommodation (STA), including respite, is an NDIS-funded service that gives people with disabilities the chance to stay somewhere different for a short period—while receiving the care and support they need.
STA can be for a few days or a couple of weeks and is a great way to:
-
Give family or carers a break
-
Experience new activities and environments
-
Build independence and confidence
-
Meet new people and develop social connections
Our STA Includes:
-
Fully furnished, comfortable accommodation
-
24/7 support from our caring team
-
Personal care, meal preparation, and daily living assistance
-
Social and recreational activities
-
Support to maintain routines and personal goals
Important to know:
-
STA funding covers your accommodation, meals, and agreed support during your stay.
-
It’s available for planned stays or in some emergency situations.

At Well-Watered Life, our STA is more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience tailored to you.
